 Autumn the Movie Version
« Thread Started on Oct 23, 2011, 4:16am »

I just watched the movie version of David Moody's Autumn on Netflix IW. Man o' man was that a bad movie! I know college students who could have done a better job with that story. The acting was atrocious. It really doesn't do the book any justice. Oh the horror =P

Yeah, I seen it too. Don't think it was ever a filmable book though in fairness.

I bought it, watched it, then realized I was at the bottom of the barrel for quality zombie movies. Really...really...bad...
Is the book any better?

I enjoyed the book, but it's not really a barn burner when it comes to action.

The book is as much about the atmosphere as the story. As a writer, it's something I dig (and have been accused of ha). Like to try and explain, Autumn draws you into a real, pragmatic and slow moving world. But it's thought provoking, and I loved it.
