Hey King, you're the inaugural member, thanks for joining up.

How'd you hear about it? I haven't done much promotion of the board yet, but when I do hopefully there'll be more people stopping by.

Hello everybody! Well everybody isn´t many, yet hehe. But if we all do a good job spreading the word, I think this forum will grow and in time become a living community.
Anyway. I found out about this forum on Megat0n:s twitter channel. I think it looks nice and is a great idea, therefore I registered an account here.

I´m a big fan of post-apocalyptic culture and have been that for a couple of years. I run a swedish blog about the subject (wastelandz.wordpress.com).

And btw. Since I'm swedish my english isn't always perfect.

So what do you like as a nickname? Do we call you Fear for short, or FDBW?

I guess fear is ok. Sort of a long name I know. I get lots a flack for it. When I chose it, it was just for my blog. If I knew I'd be using it more often I'd have maybe picked a shorter one.

I choose my name because I had to shorten the original one. It was first King of the Northern Wastes, but that didn't fit in my xfire nickname so I shortened it.

Hi there,
greetings from Germany! I found this forum via the comment at the Through The Aftermath website and I'm glad that a place like this exists (again, if you count the TTA-forums which I never was a member from).
I'm a fan of the Mad Max films and also played Fallout 3. Wasteland survival and post-apocalyptic society is among the stuff that interests me.
Originally, I'm quite a fan of Western - connected to that are my interests in riding* and playing the guitar. Post-Apocalypse and Western share quite a lot of similarities, so that's where my fandom originates.

*I own a car instead of a horse, though, so I guess it's not that bad :P

Edit:
By the way, I'm also a big fan of Firefly/Serenity, if you know the series and the film.

Hey Corny, thanks for stopping by. I started a thread over in Books asking if anyone knows of any post-apocalyptic novels written in something other than English. Have there been any German ones? If so, mention them over here, http://forum.postapocalyptic.info/index.....thread=8&page=1

Hi everyone;
I'm Timm from Switzerland, long-term post-apo fan in fiction and real-life. I'm a decay photographer, and have been to many abandoned locations, from Italian sanatoriums to Hawaiian sugar plants. Last year I went to the Chernobyl zone of exclusion for two days.
Thanks to Megaton for pointing me to this forum!
Cheers, Timm

Hey Timm,
I live in Hawaii myself. I think I saw your Hawaii photos a few months ago. I remember really liking them. And going to Pripyat must have been awesome.

You should add your gallery URLs to your signature, or just let us know where your pics can be found.
