Bug out Vehicles

So I would like to start a thread here where we post the vehicles we would "bug out" in. Some of the rules I would like to throw out there would be:

1. You must be the owner of the vehicle (no pics of Batmobiles)

2. Pics should be actual (not from the web)

3. Minimal verbiage (brief explanations ok), lots of pics!

Here is my daily driver, '10 Corolla
MPG - 35 Highway
Tank Capacity - 13.2 Gal
Highway Range - 462 miles

**Notice behind my car is my neighbor's Chevy Blazer ZR2, lifted, with push bar and fog lights, nice BOV!

Here is the wife's DD, '10 Camry
MPG - 33 Highway
Tank Capacity - 18.5
Highway Range - 610 miles

I wonder how long my car would last, given it turns 16 years soon - but I know that I can sleep in there and transport a bunch of stuff in it, so I don't need to steal one at first :D
No chance of outrunning an Interceptor, though...

Model: VW Vento / Jetta 3 GLX
Fuel Consumption: 7l/100km (MPG UK 40 / US 34)
Tank Capacity: 55l (12,10 UK gal, 14,53 US gal)
Range: 786km (488 miles)
Transmission: Manual (of course ;))
Fuel type: Benzine, surprisingly. If I could've chosen any vehicle in the world, it would probably run on diesel.
(This car is/was kinda popular in the USA for a VW, wasn't it? It wasn't that popular here because most chose the Passat instead)

It's no problem for me, but it might be for others with lower bandwidth... at least when the thread goes like this for a while :)

I can hold more than it looks, and gets decent mileage, but as I mentioned before, being on an island limits my bugoutability.

I was going to mention your 'limits'. Like the plate too. Nice job on that. My handle would be a difficult fit.

We have a site where you can check to see if a certain vanity plate is available. I just looked to see if NUKED was available and it told me "Sorry, license plate NUKED has been found to be offensive and will not be allowed."

I guess if I was nuked I'd find it offensive too ;)

I saw a guy with a plate that said LOGAN5 the other day. Was wondering if it was a reference to the movie.

There is one of these things without the mounted guns down in the depot in one of the parks near my house, and some humvee's. So I would probably try to get one of those.

At the moment I own a 2002 Dodge Ram V8, but I'm planning on getting the new Ford Raptor.

not really mine but i have acces to it so good enough.


it got wire gaurdsfor the other indowsin the back. they where tacken down because they not needed in the dock yard.

got renforced supsion and is a landrover.
